Helping Dogs: Valentine got adopted

Wohoo - Sweet Valentine got adopted today. Sheryl spoke with the new mom for a long time - gl - and don't forget -patience!

Helping Dogs

Mission: report on dogs in need of help where I (or you) live - to raise awareness to the plight of dogs, open hearts and contribute to a kinder world.

Background: This project came about because of her: Skye, a German Shepherd Husky, adopted at age 1 from a shelter. I took care of her for almost 7 months. Through taking care of her and wanting to do everything possible to have her be a happy, well adjusted dog - I discovered a lot of things and part of what now seems to want to happen with my life is: Helping dogs.

This blog, Helping Dogs is going to feature stories of dogs in need of help, which are in shelters. It's sister blog, Helping K9s will be more about other dog related topics, like training, feeding and sometimes just ramblings about the state of the world as it relates to the life of dogs. I realize that the blog title is ambivalent .... Enjoy.
